Use the market to meet customers, then give them convenient ways to keep buying directly from you all week.
Sign in with your existing Square credentials and authorize the seller account your business already uses. Then accept contactless cards and mobile wallets from Farmooly on a compatible phone. No new Square account or separate reader required.
Offer weekly, biweekly, or seasonal boxes. Build a predictable income and a community of loyal supporters before the season starts.
Publish specific market dates you'll attend and let customers order ahead. Pre-orders only open for the dates you confirm — no more customers ordering for markets you're not at.
Serve every member of your community. Accepting SNAP/EBT grows your customer base and supports food equity.
Reward customers for coming back. Farm Creds earned at your booth keep shoppers loyal to your farm across every season.
See what's selling, when to restock, and where to grow. Smart analytics designed for small and mid-size farm businesses.
Share your history, your practices, and what makes your land special. Shoppers who know your story buy more and come back year after year.
Connect with restaurants, food co-ops, and institutional buyers to move your product beyond the weekend market.
A personal QR code lets customers find you online instantly — follow your farm, pre-order, and leave reviews.
You don't need a farm to feed your neighborhood. If you bake, can, or make something people love — grandma's recipe counts — you can now join Farmooly as a personal vendor and sell homemade goods under your state's cottage food laws.
Breads, pies, jams, candies, spice blends — the shelf-stable favorites most states allow home cooks to sell directly to their community.
Every U.S. state allows some form of home-kitchen sales, and the rules differ. Signup walks you through what cottage food means, links you to your state's rules, and reminds you about required labels.
Home kitchens are never shown with a street address. Shoppers see your kitchen's name, story, and products — you choose how and where to hand off orders.
Home kitchens carry a Homemade badge shoppers love — because "my neighbor baked this" is exactly the point of eating local.
Farmooly's slot-based system means customers can only pre-order for market dates you have confirmed. No guesswork. No missed orders.
In the app, tap Pre-Orders → Manage Slots and create a slot for each market date you'll attend. Set the location, hours, and an order cutoff time.
Limit how many pre-orders you'll accept, or leave it unlimited. Pause or close a slot any time — you're always in control.
Your Upcoming, Today, Ready, and History tabs show every incoming order — who ordered what, the pickup window, and a live count. Tap the packing list on any market day for one shopping list totaling exactly what to bring — no more guessing, no more overbuying.
Customers collect at your booth and confirm with a 6-digit verification code. You mark the order complete.
Enable delivery on any slot and set your own fee. Great for loyal customers who can't make it to the market.
Reach customers beyond your local market. Set your own shipping rate — you control the economics.
💳 Payment collected upfront. Customers are charged when they place a pre-order. Full refunds are issued automatically for any order that can't be fulfilled. Eligible single-vendor pickup orders use the vendor's connected Square account. Multi-vendor carts, web checkout, and supported backup paths currently use Stripe.
Plenty of booth-management and POS tools will take a card swipe. Farmooly also puts your storefront on a shared shopper app and map — not a separate marketing tool — and tells you what to bring before you even leave the farm.
Your storefront, farm story, followers, and announcements live in the same app as every other Farmooly vendor and market — one shared audience we're actively growing, not a separate marketing tool to buy or learn.
Pre-orders roll up into one packing list per market day, so you pack exactly what's been ordered instead of guessing and hauling home a truck bed of unsold produce.
A booth-management tool gives you software with no one looking at it. Farmooly gives you a storefront inside the same shared app and map as every other vendor and market on the platform — an audience that grows as the network does, not one you have to build alone.
No tech background required. Farmooly is as simple as it is powerful.
Add your farm name, photos, story, and product listings. It takes about 15 minutes to go live.
Sign in with your existing Square credentials and connect the same seller account your business already uses. No new Square account is required. Use it for market-day Tap to Pay and eligible single-vendor app checkout, and keep Stripe connected for multi-vendor carts, web checkout, and backup coverage.
Tap to Pay, scan QR codes, and take pre-orders — all from the app in your pocket.
Set your box contents, pricing, and pickup schedule. Customers subscribe and you get paid before the season starts.
Shoppers can follow your farm, get harvest notifications, and leave reviews that bring in new customers.
Track your top sellers, peak hours, and revenue trends. Make confident decisions about what to grow next season.
Two plans. No hidden fees — and both put you on the most complete, fastest-improving local food platform available. Farmooly ships new vendor features continuously, not once a year, so every plan keeps getting more valuable over time. Square or Stripe processing charges apply based on how the customer checks out; Farmooly does not mark up processor rates.
Already use Square?
Keep the Square seller account your business already uses. Sign in with those Square credentials and authorize Farmooly; you do not need to open or maintain a second Square account. Farmooly adds the marketplace around the payment: a discoverable storefront, followers and notifications, email marketing, announcements, pre-orders, featured placement, Farm Creds loyalty rewards, and a shared shopper app we're actively growing with buyers searching for local food.
No monthly fee — pay only when you sell
14-day free trial · $24.17/month when billed at $290 annually
Break-even math
Pro pays for itself on fee savings alone at $1,450/mo in online sales ($29 ÷ 2%). Below that, Free is cheaper on fees — but the 2 included featured listings ($198 value) usually swing it to Pro at almost any volume.
Your total cost, worked out — no piece left out
At your stand, a $40 sale paid by card, on either plan. Nothing is added to the shopper's bill.
With Square Tap to Pay: $1.19 Square processing (2.6% + 15¢) + $0.22 Farmooly fee (0.3% + 10¢) — you keep $38.59, about 96.5%. That's 22¢ more than Square alone.
With Stripe Tap to Pay: $1.13 Stripe processing (2.7% + 5¢) + $0.22 Farmooly fee — you keep $38.65.
Online, a $40 order through the Farmooly app or website:
Free plan: $1.60 Farmooly fee (4%) + about $1.46 card processing (2.9% + 30¢) — you keep about $36.94, roughly 92%.
Pro plan: $0.80 Farmooly fee (2%) + the same processing — you keep about $37.74, roughly 94%, before the $29/mo subscription.
That's the entire list — there's no other cut anywhere in the chain. Processing rates are Square's and Stripe's own standard published rates as of September 2026 and can change independently of Farmooly; check your connected account for your exact rate.
Online orders show shoppers a small Platform Fee at checkout ($0.50 + 4% of subtotal) that funds the marketplace, so your prices stay the same as at your stand. In-person sales at your stand carry no shopper fee.
You're not just picking a payment processor — you're on the platform built specifically for local food, and it keeps getting better. Every farmer, rancher, and market vendor gets every new tool Farmooly ships, automatically, at no extra charge beyond your plan.
